Store Manager, Gucci Hanoi

Reporting directly to the Retail Manager of Vietnam, the Store Manager’s key role is to lead a retail team on achievement of the store business objectives, with the aim to grow the store clientele, ensure service excellence and develop brand loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Client Management

  • Establish and implement Action Plans to develop sales for each product category and client segment
  • Ensure the achievement of business objectives and implementing activities and strategic projects, keeping in constant connection with Corporate functions
  • Demonstrate sales leadership by playing an active role on the sales floor
  • Ensure the implementation and development of CRM initiatives to develop a clientele network for the store
  • Ensure service excellence and client engagement in store

People Management

  • Manage a retail team with the support of Local HR (Recruitment, Coaching, Training)
  • Ensure the development of motivation, sense of belonging, and business involvement

Store Image Management

  • Ensure correct interpretation and implementation of visual guidelines, keeping the retail team up to date about visual issues, and ensuring VM maintenance, through a close cooperation with the Visual Display team 

Store Operations Management

  • Ensure an economical and operational effective management of the store, in compliance with internal policies and procedures 
  • Ensure an adequate integration and optimization between front and back-office, ensuring appropriate store resources coverage, and supervising logistics and stock management
  • Ensure maintenance of inventory accuracy, in line with corporate policies and procedures 

Public Relations and Communications

General (Daily):

  • Assisting Regional Director with local communications management in the VN market in accordance to regional and global strategies for PR, Advertising, Events and Consumer Management.
  • Manage communication of information internally to relevant departments
  • Manage the Communications budget effectively
  • Oversee submission of key reports to Regional/Corporate teams as and when required
  • Ensure adherence to guidelines in all matters
  • Local celebrity and social media influencer management

PR (Daily):

  • Develop PR strategies for VN, in line with Corporate directives; planning of PR strategy grid
  • Enhance and sustain rapport with editors, journalists and writers to secure PR stories
  • Respond to press queries and pitch for special stories
  • Gather media feedback on collection during Milan shows
  • Oversee timely dissemination of seasonal press kits and gifting

Advertising (Monthly):

  • Support regional team in the planning of advertising strategy for both traditional and digital
  • Negotiate for additional support in terms of editorial or stronger pagination
  • Support regional team in the planning of creative rotation in accordance with merchandising buy

Events

Lead press event planning, conceptualization and execution

  • Manage event budget
  • Work with the production agency, source, manage and liaise with event suppliers
  • Oversee quality of proposals and event rundown
  • Ensure smooth execution of each event and activity with various teams (Merchandising, VM, Retail)
  • Oversee quality and timeliness of post event report submission
