Position Name: PR & Influence Manager, China Location: Shanghai Reporting: Marketing & Communication Director, China Position Description: Lead Press + Celebrity. Your main missions would be the following: As PR and Influence manager China the candidate needs to work in close collaboration with the Communication direction at Local and Regional level to build and deploy an impactful strategy taking into consideration guidelines, objectives and key messages communicated by the international communication department. This position should still take into consideration the regional and local business needs to contribute to the local development of the country. This position requires a great expertise and knowledge of the local press and influence landscape (personal connection and not rely on agencies) to identify and activate local synergies. This position requires agility to navigate between the different PR missions, Celebrities and influencers but also be able to have strategic discussions with the regional team. Roles and responsibilities: • Define, build, and activate the press, Celebrity and influence strategy for China in line with the global guidelines • Develop celebrity ( brand ambassador, other celebrities…) and influence strategy to in line with MarCom direction and vision • Formulate PR and Celebrity action plan to maximize brand exposure and increase awareness on print, digital and social media platforms • Develop E PR strategy and calendar • Develop the monthly calendar with local and international activations, red carpets, and key moments based on HQ’s and local’s PR & campaign launch planning. • Fully leverage and press network and resource to push brand visibility in a qualitative way baaed on PR annual calendar • Develop and supervise corporate communication: press release, press kit preparation, and top management interview arrangement, and tailor made press content based on the local needs • Collab with PR retainer agency to pitch qualitative shooting & media tie up and Oversee product communication: sample and product coordination, oversea shooting arrangement on both High Jewelry and Jewelry collections. • Drive direct strategy with local Chinese press • Supervision and train the local agencies (PR, Celebrity, Influence) on all topics related to the Maison • Guarantee the success of the press launches and the singular positioning of the Maison • Manage local PR and Celebrity agencies: to set clear KPI and monthly meeting to create close communication. • Negotiate and plan media coop exposure and celebrities following key campaigns and communication timeline. • Monitor and track the PR performance on DMR platform and work on monthly reports, and target to elevate BOUCHERON to rank before NO5 Jew brand on print, web and social. • Leverage existing and cultivate new relationships with brand ambassadors, celebrities, top media, stylists and industry leaders. • Manage press gifts, birthday flowers, and celebrity gifts. • Identify and follow up on new press opportunities in relation with Regional Team • Control and close monitoring of local PR, celebrities, and influencer budgets • Collab with event team to enhance brand visibility of each event • Support sales team to provide brand content, asset… for internal communication. Who you are: • 8 years of experience in luxury industry, holding several high positions in Marketing / PR related • Familiar with china market media and press landscape, and has the strong networking with key media titles • Comprehension of the press and Influence strategy and importance • Curious, connected, and pro-active • Adaptation skills and autonomous • Detail oriented and well prepared • Excellent social skills and personal contact • Degree holder, prefer fashion, marketing or business management major • Strong business sense, clientele and comfortable in managing ambiguity • Strong at planning, organizing, controlling and prioritizing skill • Good team player • Excellent communication and presentation capability • Fluent English, local language, French will be a plus
