MISSION • Plan, review and update the OTB budget per the latest sales performance and rolling business target. • Participate the whole buying campaign with leading the team to place the qualitative buying • Actively review the sell thru and analysis by category and by store performance to identify the improvements and timely action plan • Manage pricing strategy and gross margin to secure profitability, in alignment with retail strategy and meeting local objectives and targets • Responsible for merchandising: style selection, quantity decision, allocation schedule, stock management, replenishment order and product training • Work closely with Operations, PR and Visual Merchandising in monitoring the implementation quality &amp; overall effectiveness and sell-thru of merchandise • Collaborate with HQ Merchandising team in providing feedback on products, consumer trends &amp; response • Provide product knowledge training store, communicate effectively and timely with the cross function collaboration and all stores to facilitate selling staff to do effective selling PROFILE • Degree holder in Merchandising, Design or related disciplines • Minimum 10 years proven experience in the field of Merchandising • Enthusiastic for fashion industry, with creativity and strong commercial sense • Fast-learner, self-motivated, mature and able to work under pressure • Fluent in both written and spoken English • Proficient in computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint • Travel is required

ABOUT SAINT LAURENT
Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio- cultural landscape. In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe. Role MissionThe Manager of Client Engagement, Canada, will lead planning and implementation of retail client development strategies across directly operated stores (DOS) and outlet locations that drive retention, elevation, and acquisition through exceptional relationship management and local market events to support key client moments and achieve overall targets. This role is responsible for translating Gucci America’s client engagement strategy in alignment with retail business objectives to create store-embedded client plans that directly impact sales. With a retail-first mindset, the Manager of Client Engagement, Canada will coordinate the partnerships with Store Directors, retail leadership and corporate client engagement teams ensuring synergy and collaboration.Key AccountabilitiesClient Development – 50%<ul><li>Lead market store-specific strategy, planning and execution of client development activities aimed at full funnel retention, elevation, and acquisition in partnership with the corporate client and insights team;</li><li>Leverage client pyramid analysis at store level and client mapping to derive bottoms up retail plans designed to meet sales goals and client segment ambitions;</li><li>Regularly review client outreach achievement and tool usage to identify opportunities to close gaps with the sharing and embedding of best practices;</li><li>Work closely with respective corporate and field cross-functional teams to align on client goals and a 365 calendar to achieve annual client development plan, in cohesion with global and regional strategy;</li><li>Analyze performance and impact of client initiatives on client development and sales, analyze pre, during and post strategy to ensure each touchpoint opportunity is maximized for client engagement KPIs;</li><li>Collaborate with the General Manager, Canada through regular touch bases while ensuring teams have structured time for strategy, plan development, and goal setting;</li><li>Travel to stores to support with the further growth within client development;
