We are currently seeking a Supply Chain & Demand Planning Manager who will report to the Operations Director based in our central London offices, on a 12 month maternity cover contract.
How you will contribute:
Build a strong collaborative relationship with local teams and a good knowledge of market specificities to define an optimum stock distribution strategy.
Develop and manage a demand forecast for specific markets stock needs by region / store / product category to ensure product availability on time and optimize stock turn and sales. Specific needs include events, marketing push and hexogen fluctuations that the standard forecasting model cannot capture and manage.
Enhance existing forecasting tool to calculate products supplier reorder needs.
Drive the daily WWD stock replenishment (central warehouse to markets and local warehouses to stores) for all product categories.
Build and lead a WWD organisation with decentralised allocation teams to optimise local replenishment.
Manage the stock replenishment assortment matrix: define coverage parameters settings, identify missed opportunities. Adapt parameters to local demand trend when needed.
Design a new stock distribution and replenishment strategy in line with company’s omni-channel approach.
Define the seasonal collections launches allocation strategy per store/market (Push/Pull approach) and instruct LGI on shipments start.
Lead internal processes to deliver stock on time for new stores/markets openings and implement auto-replenishment (Local Buying & Retail Operations teams, Customer Service, Inventory Control, Share, etc.)
Responsible for monitoring WWD stock levels and designing corrective actions.
Lead WWD stock rebalancing and pending orders redirections across regions to quickly react to sudden changes in the demand.
In charge for warehouses logistics budgeting and defining LGI weekly capacity needs.
Manage packaging and uniforms reorders.
Additional ad-hoc projects.
Your Skills and Experience:
Working in the Sales and Demand Planning team requires a high level of product sensitivity, proactivity and an analytical mind. Excellent organisation and communication skills are fundamental to success in the role and an ability to think fast in an entrepreneurial manner is necessary.
Previous experience working in the luxury industry (desirable).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organisational skills, to effectively manage a fast paced and varied workload.
Excellent interpersonal skills, confident in speaking with a number of stakeholders.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel advanced level).
Degree in a related discipline (e.g. Business Management or Supply Chain Management).
Additional languages highly desirable.
Willing to travel as required.
