We are looking for an HR Operations Manager

The Operations Manager guides and manages human resources services, policies, and programs for Ulysse Nardin and Girard-Perregaux.


HR Operations Manager responsibilities include reviewing budgets, implementing new company policies and maintaining internal HR systems. You will ensure our HR initiatives are cost-effective, run smoothly and contribute to a healthy work environment.  This role ensures that accurate and timely employee life cycle processes are followed, and that employee master data is accurate for the functions or businesses supported. This position focuses on stakeholder management as well as ongoing maintenance and continuous process improvement of current / future HR processes and works on special projects within the business.

  • Manage a small team that provides HR support, payroll and data analysis for HQ and worldwide subsidiaries

  • Serves as subject matter expert and provides guidance to employees on human resource related topics

  • Assists business reviews and meeting departmental budget

  • Reviews and analyzes data to identify trends in employee engagement

  • Participates in Diversity and Inclusion initiatives

  • Plans, executes and monitors company-wide training program

  • Establishes and maintains department records and reports related to progressive discipline cases, terminations, grievances and employee incidents

  • Participate in labor relations, legal compliance and training on behalf of the company

  • Prepares and maintains employee handbook and other manuals on company policies and procedures

  • Oversees People Inbox and People team staff to ensure all office, events, onboarding, and employee related questions/concerns are being handled appropriately and resolved in a timely manner

  • Evaluates department initiatives, recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed

  • Ensure compliance within HR Shared Services and Payroll functions and that team and programs operate within the guidelines of federal, state, and company policies and regulatory requirements

  • Comprehensive payroll knowledge to help guide payroll tax practice and payroll infrastructure

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resource management, business administration or related field and 2 years’ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Ability to think strategically, provide direction, manage multiple projects and execute in a dynamic environment

  • Ability to diagnose and support data-driven decision-making

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; ability to create and deliver briefings to leaders/management/employees

  • Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines

  • Interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations and confidential information

  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems

  • Ability to develop clear and fair company policies

  • Team management skills

  • Fluent in English
