    ABOUT SAINT LAURENT Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio-cultural landscape. In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe. Today, Saint Laurent collections include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewellery, scarves, ties and eyewear.     The Assistant WW Merchandise Planning RTW will be in charge of supporting all the activities of WW Merchandise planning RTW department, based in Paris.



    • Monitoring performance on global RTW business by collection

    • Providing weekly / monthly report related to key KPIs in merchandising department

    • Update key products ID / mapping

    • Support Business Review by product category in terms of trend and forecast landing


    • Coordinating new openings in Retail/Digital to prepare for future RTW forecast

    • Liaising with collection merchandising on assortments in the forecast tool

    • Monitoring seasonality on key business drivers

    • Monitoring forecast accuracy vs actual sales by regions


    • Proposing seasonal reorders opportunities and risk (out of stock) according to sales, stock and production planning

    • Follow up global reorder and monitor performance closely for both seasonal /non-seasonal

    • Monitoring production delivery schedule for the optimal drops based on regional events  


    • Fluid communication with collection, retail, digital merchandising.

    • Instant exchanges on delivery, replenishment, stock optimization with supply chain department

    • Support and follow up regional buying teams’ requests


    • Formation superior, Ecole de Commerce or experience in similar functions

    • Analytical mind and interest in figures linked to products and markets

    • Excellent skills of Excel and good knowledge of the rest Office pack

    • Strong attention to details

    • Ability to work in a highly dynamic and demanding environment

    • Flexibility for adapting priorities

    • Fluent English

    Internship of 6 months to meet in Septemb 2024.
